REMEDY FOR STOMACH -2

Another simple recipe for stomach upsets which my mother made for us whenever anyone of us had stomach upset…….. A very simple and effective recipe…….. In Bengal, it is called CHINRE SEDHO…….This is actually a simple Beaten Rice Porridge……. In Bengali, Beaten Rice is called Chinre and Sedho means boiled.

DIRECTIONS : Wash chinre………

Boil water in a pan….. Add sugar according to taste and a pinch of salt….. Now add in washed chinre…… Cook till thick porridge is formed.

This porridge is very filling and helps during stomach upsets……. Can be had by mixing in little lemon juice……. Also can be had with yoghurt…….

If yoghurt is homemade then it is even better.

NOTE : One can get various types of beaten rice…….. Thick variety is good for this recipe.
